Leadership Retreat


The SPACPAC Leadership Retreat is an opportunity for Pacific young people in leadership positions to be equipped in their leadership roles. Plus, a chance to meet other Pacific youth and community leaders across Canterbury.

Youth Awards

The SPACPAC Youth Awards is a night celebrating and showcasing our Pacific young people’s talents and achievements in Canterbury through their service, academics, cultural commitment and more!

Canterbury Polyfest

Pacific young people across the Canterbury region celebrate and showcase their Pasifika culture, language and identity through song and dance to reflect the diverse Pasifika cultures residing in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Innovate

The SPACPAC Innovate is a chance for Yr 10 Pacific students to journey through the process of proposing a solution by thinking through an issue. Teams will be given opportunities to develop an innovative solution through a product or service.

Pacific Careers Expo

This event will feature a diverse representation of businesses, agencies, and tertiary institutions, providing an invaluable platform for showcasing career opportunities and scholarship details to our Pasifika students.

The expo offers a unique opportunity to explore various career pathways and obtain valuable insights into post-secondary school options.

Pacific Speech
Festival

Allowing Pacific young people to compete in any of our Pacific languages. Students are able to gain NCEA achievement standards or unit standards.

The Leaders Breakfast recognises Pacific young people who have made a significant contribution to the life of their respective school or community. As leaders they will have demonstrated the values and attributes associated with being an effective leader.

The Memea Cultural and Service Leadership Awards recognises and celebrates Pasifika young people who have demonstrated promotion of their Pasifika heritage, language, culture and identity in their school and community. Showing service leadership at the highest level in their respective school and wider community.
